Pecan and Truman early days
Hi there! We're Pecan and Truman, littermates. We were born in Bathurst in early 2021. Not sure what happened to us, but we came to BMD Cat Welfare and in August 2021, Jan popped up and said she would really like two adorable kittens. What could we do? So we moved in with Jan at Leura (nice and chilly, rather like Bathurst). All three of us (yes rather inseparable now) moved to Normanhurst in December 2022. Well, that's the intro done.
I, Pecan, am a brave little explorer. My tortie coat is reminiscent of a pecan nut, hence the name. You might find me up on the parallel bars, tucked behind some cabinet, or in any other place deemed 'off-limits'.
My darling brother, Truman, is a medium-haired black and white gorgeous boy with an affinity for men's boots and socks. He's also somewhat of a personal alarm system, growling when anyone approaches the front door.
Jan was wary, initially, of adopting two cats, but being adopted together has been incredibly beneficial for all of us. We feel safe and snuggle and play together, enhancing our threesome bond. It's a delightful mix we can't recommend enough.
